Is Magna a remote company? +
Yes, Magna is a fully remote team with members located across Wyoming, Texas, California, Dubai, and South Africa. We use async communication and regular syncs to stay aligned across time zones.
What's the team culture like? +
We're a small, tight-knit team that treats each other like family. We work hard and hold each other to high standards, but we also genuinely care about each other's growth and well-being. No politics, no bureaucracy -- just people who give a damn about doing great work.
What kind of roles does Magna hire for? +
We hire across AEO strategy, content creation, PR and media relations, partnerships, operations, and tech. As we grow, new roles open up regularly. If you have a skill that could help businesses rank on AI engines, we want to hear from you.
Do I need experience in AI or SEO to join? +
Not necessarily. While experience in digital marketing, SEO, or AI is helpful, what matters most is a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and genuine curiosity about AI search. We'll teach you everything you need to know about AEO.
What does the interview process look like? +
After your Instagram DM, you'll typically have a casual video call with August or a team lead. If there's a good fit, we may do a short paid trial project. We move fast and don't believe in dragging out the hiring process with unnecessary rounds.
What are the growth opportunities at Magna? +
Magna is growing rapidly and AEO is a brand new industry. Early team members have the opportunity to become leaders in a space that barely existed a year ago. We promote from within and give people real ownership over their work.
What tools and tech does the team use? +
We use a modern tech stack including Slack for communication, Notion for project management, and various AI and analytics tools for AEO work. We're always adopting new tools that make us more effective.
